Bridgewater Nissan came to us for a campaign. It left with a brand.
The dealership has been part of Bridgewater, New Jersey, for more than sixty years, and it is one of the oldest family-owned Nissan dealerships in the state. Three generations of the town have bought their first car there, then their family car, then the one after that. The roots ran deep. The look hadn’t kept up.
The brief was content. Good content needs something solid underneath it, though, and what was underneath here didn’t fit. The general manager had real energy and plans to match: to make Bridgewater a voice worth listening to in the dealership world, especially among Nissan dealers. The brand was still dressed for a different decade. So we set the campaign aside and started on the brand.
For over sixty years, the dealership has been moving people forward. Now it looks the part.
The brand had to honor its history without getting stuck in it, and it had to sit closer to Nissan. A dealership is a family business under a global name, so it has to answer to both.
Working from elements of the Nissan identity, we built the Bridgewater arrow. It points one way: movement, direction, progress. The dated wordmark gave way to a clean, modern type system with Nissan’s DNA running through it, so the dealership and the manufacturer finally look like family. Energy, optimism, drive.
Every brand needs one idea the rest can hang on. For Bridgewater, it’s two words. It isn’t about selling cars. It’s about being the people you trust with the next one.
Forward is progress, optimism, and whatever comes next, whether that’s a first car, a family SUV or a reliable upgrade. Together is the half most dealerships forget. From the first conversation to years after the sale, the team keeps showing up with support, guidance and care.
Put the two words side by side and you have the whole promise. The arrow points ahead, and no customer takes a step alone.
